The Poppa Foster Goodtime™ Band is a quartet that hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma, led by bassist/singer Chris “Poppa” Foster (Green Corn Rebellion, Poppa Foster and the Grits). PFG™B brings meat and bones to a genre-fluid approach at rock and roll—infusing Delta blues, 70s soul music and Western swing into their meticulously punctual and lavish sound. Truthful and trial-infested tales woven into familiar grooves are driven by Poppa and inventive, explosive drummer Mason Remel (Deepfake Jazz Quintet, Mexican Cartel), who join forces with two of the most sought after guitar heroes in the Tulsa area—Peter Tomshany (Indicator/Activator, MU) and Nate Bellatti (Dane & The Soup, Nate Bellatti Trio)—to create these high-energy, familiarly catchy yet original tunes.
